Biosolids EMS Manual
The Encina Wastewater Authority's (EWA's) Biosolids Policy commits to developing an Environmental Management System (EMS) for its biosolids program. The Biosolids EMS is a management tool being utilized by the EWA to document current regulatory compliance requirements, best management practices, and to gain public confidence and acceptance in its beneficial use program.

The Biosolids EMS program will provide a documentation and recordkeeping system, which is referred to as the Biosolids EMS Tracking System (BETS). The Biosolids EMS Manual will provide detailed information on the biosolids program and function as the master control document for the Biosolids EMS program. The EMS Manual is organized into five categories consisting of seventeen supporting Elements.
